If you want to catch up on Game of Thrones or True Blood, don’t count on your Netflix subscription. Today, HBO squashed rumors of any future partnership with the video rental service.
In a letter to shareholders released on Tuesday, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings hinted that a deal between Netflix and its competitor was on the table.
“While we compete for content and viewing time with HBO, it is also possible we will find opportunities to work together — just as we do with other networks,” Hastings and Chief Financial Officer David Wells said in their letter, according to Reuters.
